This is a huge sea-carved rock formation that you can view from a short loop trail near Eaglehawk Neck.

It’s right next to the Devil’s Kitchen and close to the Waterfall Bay Walk, so it’s easy to visit all three in one stop.

You don’t need to hike to get there, it’s a flat, sealed path from the carpark to the viewing platforms. It’s a nice quick stop for some great pics.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Large viewing area with railings overlooking the arch

  • Short walking paths with additional coastal viewpoints

  • Busy during the day, especially with tour groups

  • Good option for quick photos or a picnic stop

  • Best lighting for photos is late afternoon

TO ACCESS

  • Approx 1 hour’s drive from Hobart

  • Park pass required, it’s in Tasman NP

  • Not pet-friendly
