The shuttle bus is how most people get around Cradle Mountain during the day.

There are heaps of shuttles, so access is really easy. It generally runs from 8am to 5pm, but seasonal times vary.

It’s an extra cost on top of the Parks Pass, though, which catches a lot of people out. Last time we checked it was $15 per adult for 72 hours, while children under 18 go for free.

You can enter the park with your vehicle BEFORE or AFTER shuttle hours (no motorhomes allowed). We did it at 4am to see the sunrise, 100% recommended!

Once the service is running, you can exit with your vehicle during shuttle hours. But you have to wait until a bus is driving back and basically escort it.

More info on current costs, operating hours, etc, here.
