Motts Beach is down at Cockle Creek on Recherche Bay, the southernmost point of Australia.

It’s a calm spot with an epic campsite nearby, so it’s the perfect place to relax for a couple of days! It feels very remote, like you’re at the edge of the world.

The road in is unsealed, though. It’s well-kept, but it might get rough after raining.

TO ACCESS

  • Parks Pass required

  • About a 2-hour drive from Hobart

  • The campsite nearby is free, no bookings, basic facilities. More info here!
