This is a bit of a hidden gem, a short walk from the main road.

The water is sooo turquoise and the orange lichen-covered rocks give you a taste of what you see up north at the Bay of Fires!

It’s usually quieter than other popular spots like Honeymoon Bay or Wineglass, and it’s only a 10 min walk from the carpark.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Short walk through coastal bush

  • Can swim if conditions are calm

  • Usually quiet compared to other stops

  • No shade or facilities

TO ACCESS

  • Trail starts from Sleepy Bay carpark (signed off the main road)

  • Inside Freycinet NP, so parks pass required

  • No toilets or bins
