This is a working lavender farm, and one of the best photostops we’ve come across in our travels.

We were lucky enough to visit during the lavender season (Dec-Jan) and it was unbelievable! Hundreds of rows of purple, stretching out across the hills.

The smell was incredible, too. But keep in mind it’s a working lavender farm, so you can’t pick the flowers, they’re grown to make lavender products sold on site.

There’s an entry fee and a nice café on site. There are guided tours too, if you’re keen! All the info on tickets, tour, etc here

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Peak bloom in December and January

  • Fields mostly harvested by February

  • Lavender picking not permitted

  • On-site café

  • Dog-friendly grounds

TO ACCESS

  • Entry ticket required

  • Open daily from 9am to 5pm, last time we checked
