This is one of the main hubs on Bruny Island, where you'll find accommodation, the only petrol station on the island, and a calm, swimmable beach that’s great in summer.

The beach is long and sheltered, perfect for a dip with small ones. There are cruises that depart from here too if you’re keen.

You can sometimes spot dolphins and seabirds from the beach, and if you’re visiting during the right season, whales too!

The iconic Fluted Cape Walk is nearby too, as well as other great walks.

Plus if you’re staying overnight in the area, this is also one of the best spots on the island to try your luck with the aurora.
