Wineglass Bay is one of the most photographed spots in Tasmania! The bay has this perfect crescent shape, backed by pink granite peaks and turquoise water.
The best view is from the Wineglass Bay Lookout, which is a 2.6 km return walk (allow 1-1.5 hours total). It’s steep in sections, but short and well-maintained.
From the top, you’ll see that iconic wineglass shape. And during whale season, it’s also a great vantage point for spotting them!
You can keep going down to the beach if you’re keen, but even just doing the lookout is worth it. Go early to avoid the crowds, especially in summer.
