This is the jump-off point for Maria Island, it’s where you check in and board the ferry over.

If you’re driving from Hobart, know that they ask you to be there 45 minutes before departure, so give yourself plenty of buffer.

There’s parking there as well. We left the car there and spent 2 days in Maria Island without issues!
