Fuglafjørður is a cozy village nestled on the east coast of Eysturoy in the Faroe Islands, known for its bustling harbor and fish processing industry. The town center is packed with shops and services, while the surrounding steep hills offer a picturesque backdrop. With a modern cultural center and a strong focus on fishing-related businesses, Fuglafjørður is a charming spot where tradition meets innovation in a stunning coastal setting.

As a local, my favorite thing to do at this village is to go hiking. There are many nice hike here but the most common one would be to Mount Rustartindur which basically you start hiking close to the football ground where the main river is and keep on going up. The hike takes about an hour or so. The view just gets better and better the higher you go. This is also one of the most hikes that my guest asked me to take them to.

There are some cool places to relax after the hike. My favorit spot would be Ribarhús.
