Cerro La Gaita is an incredible hike in Cocle, Panama that takes you atop one of Anton Valley's biggest mountains. The challenging 9 km trail starts at the fork of Laguna de San Carlos and steadily rises up the steep slope with slippery clay and a long series of winding stairs for the final ascent. At the summit sits an empty platform that offers beautiful views of other mountain hikes in the region. While this isn't a simple hike, the rewarding views make it truly worth it!
