Alpin Resort Hotel
Hotel
Directions

While it's not the cheapest option, I think it offers great value for what you get.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the spa is perfect after a day of hiking or skiing, and the breakfast is one of the best I've had at a mountain resort in Romania. The atmosphere feels cozy without being overcrowded, and the location is ideal—close enough to reach the ski slopes or hiking trails within minutes, yet peaceful enough to truly relax.

Whether you're visiting for a ski trip, a weekend escape, or simply want to enjoy the fresh mountain air, this hotel makes a great base for exploring both Poiana Brașov and nearby Brașov.

💡 My Tips

  • Book a mountain-view room if possible—the scenery is beautiful, especially in the morning.

  • The hotel isn't a budget option, but if you book a few months in advance or travel outside peak season, you can often find much better rates.

  • Don't skip the breakfast—there's a huge selection and it's a great way to start the day before heading into the mountains.

  • Bring your swimsuit! The spa and indoor pool are perfect for relaxing after a long day outdoors.

  • If you're skiing, use the hotel's shuttle service instead of driving to the slopes and dealing with parking.
