The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, making it a great choice whether you're spending a weekend in Borșa or using it as a base to explore the Rodna Mountains. What I enjoyed most, though, was the restaurant. Their fresh trout and sturgeon, raised in their own fish farm, are the specialties you shouldn't miss, but you'll also find delicious traditional Romanian dishes and international options. The terrace overlooking the lake creates the perfect setting for a relaxing lunch or dinner.

Its location is another big advantage—it's only a few minutes from the Borșa gondola and close to many of the area's top attractions, making it easy to explore during the day and return to a peaceful setting in the evening.
