At the Carmo Convent you can experience something very special. During the summer months they offer a breathtaking light show. We went and it blew our minds away! The show we watched is their most popular one sharing the history of Portugal.

You almost feel high watching the many colors and music blend into this stunning and very entertaining history lesson. You can also visit the convent during the day and just enjoy the fascinating architecture. The building is a ruin left behind after the tragic earthquake and flooding back in 1755.
