Officially it is called Kastelli Pediados. It is a picturesque village, whose inhabitants are mainly engaged in agriculture. The new airport of Crete, the airport of Kastelli, will soon be located in its southwestern part. You can choose to spend a night in Kastelli, there are a few tavernas in the village as well.
