The ticket cost depends on how far up the mountain you are traveling, one way or round trip. If you are unsure what to buy, go to the ticket office and explain what you want to do and they will sell you the correct ticket.

Where to buy tickets
You can purchase tickets on the SBB Mobile App, SBB.ch as well as ticket machines and ticket office at the train station. It costs extra if you buy tickets on the train.
Tickets can be bought immediately before your journey and do not sell out. You cannot reserve seats on this train unless you are a big group.

By public transport:
Ride train to Grindelwald train station. Transfer to the yellow "Wengernalpbahn" cogwheel train, direction Kleine Scheidegg.
By car:
