The Simpson River Trailhead in Kootenay National Park offers a scenic and relatively easy hike with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Despite being affected by wildfires in 2001, the area has seen new growth of wildflowers and shrubs, creating a beautiful landscape for hikers to explore. With the option to choose your own adventure and make the hike as long or short as you fancy, this trail is perfect for a peaceful and nature-filled outing in the Canadian Rockies.

For most hikers we actually suggest hiking the very short beginning to the River for some great views and a nice picnic spot.
