Berg Lake is the crown jewel of Mount Robson Provincial Park. The massive Berg Glacier descends directly into the turquoise waters, regularly calving icebergs that float across the lake—a rare phenomenon in a temperate climate. The lake sits at the foot of Mount Robson's north face, offering unparalleled views of the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.

Beyond the main campground, several day hikes lead to spectacular viewpoints like Toboggan Falls and Mumm Basin. Prime visiting time is from mid-July through September, with August typically offering the most stable weather. The effort required to reach Berg Lake means it never feels crowded, but reservations for the campground are still essential during peak season.
