Langisjór is an iconic lake near the Vatnajökull glacier in Iceland's Central Highlands. This unique body of water boasts of its remarkable shape and provides hikers with gorgeous views, fresh air, and plenty of privacy due to its remoteness. It also offers a parking lot with toilets and a plain camping ground for those who want to spend a night here to take it all in. Make sure you hike to the top of Sveinstindur for some incredible 360° views and soak in the amazing landscapes this area has to offer. Truly one of the most special places I've been to.
