Camas Daraich beach at the Point of Sleat on Skye is a beautiful white sand bay surrounded by picturesque scenery and wildlife. It's a great place to relax and unwind particularly if you get good weather on the island.

However, reaching such beauty does require a little effort. The car park to walk to the beach is located at the very end of a single track road about 45miles from Portree. The walk itself, which takes in some stunning landscapes and a lighthouse, will take about 4-5 hours.

Ensure you have the right gear / essentials before attempting.
