Craigievar Castle is a 16th century Scottish fairytale castle located in Aberdeen, which has remained virtually unchanged since its completion in 1626. Parking is right on top of the castle and it's very accessible for all ages.

It's one of the closest examples of a fairytale castle, and has now re-opened following renovations to the exterior.

You can also stay in the cottages nearby and there are great walks around the grounds.
