The Royal Mile in Edinburgh is an iconic and historic mile stretch along the Old Town.

The street is filled with old architecture, monuments, and shops. It stretches from the Edinburgh Castle to Holyrood Palace, and is lined local shops, pubs, theatres, cafes, and lots more.

You can easily lose a couple of hours wandering the mile - picturing what the city would have been like back in the 12th century.
