Located near North Berwick, Tantallon Castle is another of those castles that captures the imagination being so close to the sea.

Dating back to the 1300s, you can visit the castle today, or admire it from the edge of Seacliff Beach. Apart from its stunning views of the North Sea and the Bass Rock, the castle also has a replica gun in the east tower as well as interesting artefacts.
