Neist Point Lighthouse is a popular destination located on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. It is at the most western tip of Skye near the township of Glendale and overlooks the amazing high cliffs.

It's easy to get here if you have a car and there is lots of parking. A short walk down the concrete path leads to the the headland from where you can get great shots of the lighthouse and the sea cliffs. You can also follow the path directly the lighthouse as well.

Some history:

The lighthouses history dates back to 1900 when it was a manned lighthouse and later updated to an automated system. Aside from admiring the stunning views, visitors often fish around the rocks for large Pollok and take part in the centuries-old tradition of building stone towers by the lighthouse.
