The Bamboo Room Restaurant is a local favorite known for its famous halibut fish and chips. The fish comes in battered chunks/nuggets that seriously feature the moist, fresh taste of the halibut. It's more about the halibut than the "fish and chips" experience, though they provide a nice dill tarter sauce and malt vinegar, as expected. This restaurant is retro in a very real sense – some travelers say it reminds them of the diners of their youth.
