The Ak Suu Hot Springs is a wonderful spot to visit for a half day trip from Karakol or to stop in at the end of the Ala Kul Trek. It's a more underrated hot spring resort than the busier ones at Altyn Arashan.

The resort has connected open air pools with varying temperatures (including a near boiling hot one!), plus change rooms, showers, and a restaurant. There’s no time limit, but it’s recommended to stay no longer than an hour in the pools.

How to get there? Take the #350 marshrutka from Karakol for 30 minutes to Ak Suu Village or get a taxi.

Important! There is a resort entrance fee which is from 300 som per person.
