Message from James Martin

The Fortezza della Brunella is a 16th century fortress overlooking the city of Aulla, it holds exceptional views and offers fascinating insight into its rich and illustrious history. The enormous four rectangular towers, encompassed by a large (now dry) moat serve to protect the Lunigiana Natural History Museum (Museo della Storia Naturale della Lunigiana) located inside.
