This is our full 2 week South Island camper trip with kids, every stop, every drive, and everything we’d do again (or add) if we were planning it over. This was the 27th country we’ve taken our kids to, but this country was one of a kind. The variety here is unreal, glaciers, bright blue pools, lush rainforests, rugged coastlines, quiet local lakes, and dramatic fiords, all within a few hours of each other. Add in off-the-beaten-path camper spots, freedom camping, and some of the most beautiful drives we’ve ever done, and it just felt like constant adventure without being overwhelming.
