What to expect:

We took a lovely stroll around the island during low tide – it took us a little over one and a half hour with the kids to cover the 4.2 km. Along the way, we passed through the village, an abandoned pearl farm, and peaceful beaches. Most of the time we only came across goats and cows, and on this walk we even got to see some of the horses. The whole experience was especially enchanting just before sunset, as long as the tide allowed.
