Grafton Street, located in Dublin, is a bustling shopping street that runs from St Stephen's Green to College Green. Originally a mix of residential and commercial buildings, it transformed into a popular shopping destination with the development of Carlisle Bridge in the late 1700s. Despite a rough patch in the 19th century with dilapidation and prostitution issues, Grafton Street rebounded and became known for its upscale shops, iconic Bewley's Café, and vibrant busking scene. Today, it remains a top shopping destination and a hub for street entertainment, frequented by locals and tourists alike.
