Parc de l’Aigüera is one of those classic Benidorm spots I always sneak into with friends who expect just golden beaches and skyline views. Designed by the famous architect Ricardo Bofill in the late ’80s, this linear park stretches for about 400 metres and feels like a hidden breath of calm right in the centre of town.
Inside, you’ll find two beautiful open-air auditoria, Óscar Esplá for more intimate gatherings (about 500 seats) and the larger Julio Iglesias stage, which can host thousands and comes alive under summer concert lights.
Stroll through the shaded paths under palm trees, watching joggers, families and spontaneous musicians find a moment of peace. The walk leads you to the historic bullring and the festive fairground that springs to life during local fiestas. Combining tradition, nature and culture in one place.
