This is a cool local hike near Anchorage but just to the north in the little mountain town of Eagle River! OK so there's a little local secret here!!! Many times as popularity grows or as natural changes occur along the trail (like river erosion) this one secret gem may go away. But for now, there is still a swing overlooking the river halfway along the trail loop. We try not to give away these little secret spots publicly, but you're here as our paid community!
