Haytor Rocks, also known as Hay Tor, is a famous granite tor located on the eastern edge of Dartmoor in Devon, England.

It's a popular natural landmark that offers stunning views of the coastline and rolling countryside. The tor has a distinctive shape and can be seen from many places in South Devon.

This is a fantastic location for sunrise, if you want the golden colours to be behind the tor itself, or for sunset, it’s bathed in the light as the whole of Dartmoor goes golden.

This is also a great starting spot for one of my favourite walks, Haytor to Houndtor circular. There are three car parks which serve the Haytor area so there is nothing to worry about in that front!
