Bannalpsee (1,586 m / 5,203 ft) is a stunning alpine lake tucked away in the mountains above Wolfenschiessen in Canton Nidwalden. How to Get There
Travel to Wolfenschiessen (reachable by train from Lucerne).
From there, take the small cable car Fellboden–Bannalp (about 10 minutes).
Price: ~12 CHF one way / ~24 CHF return (adult).
At the top station, the lake is only a 15-minute walk.
