How to Get There
Travel to Amsteg in Canton Uri (reachable by car or train + bus).
From Amsteg-Intschi you take a small cable car (Intschi–Arnisee) – a charming red cabin that takes only 8 minutes.
Price: ~12 CHF one way / ~20 CHF return (adult).
The ride itself is an adventure with views over the valley and waterfalls.
Hiking Options
Easy option: from the cable car station it’s just a 10-minute walk to the lake – suitable for families with children or strollers.
