A guided tour through the valley of volcanoes. Whether you arrive by car or on an organised excursion, this park demands patience before you reach your destination. Being one of the island's most iconic spots, it's always packed and the queue of cars waiting to get in feels endless. Arrive early and bring water — the wait will be in full sun. Once you reach the car park inside the park, a bus takes you on a full circuit through the craters and lava canyons. The audio guide is available in four languages, accessible to everyone. Inside the park you'll find a souvenir shop, the El Diablo restaurant with its volcanic grill, and geyser shows. It takes time and patience to get there — but it was absolutely worth it.
