Not a beach in the traditional sense — no sand, no sunbeds, no crowds. Rociador de Agua is a stretch of volcanic coastline near Montaña Roja where the Atlantic crashes violently against the black lava rock, sending walls of water into the air. Carved into the rock are natural pools filled by the ocean. We stopped here but the sea was too rough to get in — which honestly made it even more dramatic to watch. Tom got soaked just standing near the edge. Check the conditions before you go: on a calm day the pools are swimmable, on a rough day it's one of the most spectacular shows the island puts on for free. Either way, worth the stop.
