The Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Paz, in Leticia, Colombia, is a captivating sight to behold, and a landmark of the region. This beautiful building was constructed back in 1934, with its inauguration in 1936. In 2000, it underwent partial restoration to give it its current appearance which stands overlooking the vibrant town, with its arched entrance way drawing visitors to its interior. Inside the house of god, worshippers attend to the Catholic church and will experience awe inspiring architecture and numerous paintings depicting religious stories. On the top of the catedral lies a vantage point where up to 10 people may stand together to soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding Amazonian landscapes.
