The Parque Santander is a public park located in the city of Leticia in southeast Colombia. Its main attraction is its surrounding lush vegetation, making it an ideal place for bird watching. Inside the park there is an artificial lake with specimens of Victoria regia and several statues that honor the indigenous people and Francisco de Paula Santander. There are also food vendors offering traditional Amazonian and Asian snacks. Visitors to the park can also take advantage of the small mobile library provided as part of the BiblioVan project. With its picturesque landscape and wealth of cultural activities, the Parque Santander is a must-see destination for any traveler visiting Leticia.
