Yellowstone National Park is an epic natural playground tucked mostly in Wyoming and spilling into Montana and Idaho. It’s a land of jaw-dropping beauty, untamed wildlife, geothermal magic, home to the legendary Old Faithful, which blasts skyward with incredible power on a near perfect schedule.

Covering more than 3,400 square miles, Yellowstone is a vibrant patchwork of lush forests, dramatic mountains, rainbow coloured hot springs, and wide open valleys. Bison casually wander the roads like they own the place, elk graze in golden meadows, and if you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a bear on the move. With endless hiking trails, scenic drives, and dreamy spots to camp under the stars, the park has something for every kind of explorer, thrill seekers, nature lovers, and serenity hunters alike. Add in its rich cultural history from Native American roots to fearless early adventurers and you’ve got a destination overflowing with stories.

To make your adventure even easier, I’ve put together a fun and thoughtfully curated 4-day itinerary to help you get the absolute most out of your Yellowstone experience. It’s definitely worth purchasing an annual National Parks Pass, especially if you plan on visiting both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. The pass costs $80 for the year and grants you access to hundreds of national parks and federal recreation sites across the country. It pays for itself quickly and gives you the freedom to explore even more incredible places!

we visited the park towards the end of September, it was quiet chilly most days so make sure to check the weather and pack some pants and jumpers as well as a waterproof jacket if it rains!

I have added the link so you can book the same Sprinter Van through outdoorsy!
