Pukatea (also known as Whites Bay) is an idyllic beach located a short distance from the city of Blenheim, in Marlborough, New Zealand. It provides a sheltered area for swimming and other beach activities like beach volleyball or sandcastle competitions. The bay also boasts numerous historic sites such as the Department of Conservation administered campgrounds and the old telegraph operator's cottage, still preserved from 1866. Beautiful tracks for walking, including the Black Jack Track and the Pukatea Walk, are available for those who want to explore the diverse range of native vegetation. All of this makes Whites Bay an attractive destination and excellent spot for holidays and outdoor activities.
