An incredible hike in the Coromandel. The path of this hike is well formed but very rugged! Expect lots of stairs and uneven terrain with little views until you reach the hut and the summit beyond.
This hike can be done as a rather intense day hike (6-7 hours return) or an overnight hike staying at the Pinnacles hut which you need to book on DOCs website. The hike to the hut takes 2.5 hours and then another 45 minutes to the summit for the most beautiful views.
