The Pororari River Track in West Coast, New Zealand offers a stunning one hour, seven kilometre hike through lush sub-tropical forests and majestic limestone cliffs. The track provides hikers with a great variety of wildlife and picturesque scenery, including a lookout point for spectacular vistas. Just to the north of the Visitor Centre near Punakaiki village, the challenge begins with a steep descent down to the riverbed for a rest before retracing your steps to the beginning. It's a great way to take in some fresh air and explore the stunning natural beauty that is unique to this part of the world.
