The Tölzer Hütte is a charming mountain refuge offering stunning panoramic views of the Karwendel mountain range. The hike begins at the Leckbachweg parking area along the road to Hinterriss. From there, you’ll trek approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, covering about 5.5 km with a challenging 900 meters of elevation gain.

The trail winds through beautiful alpine forests and open mountain terrain, with some sections being quite steep, so sturdy hiking boots are essential. The effort is well rewarded once you reach the hut, where you can enjoy hearty, traditional alpine food made from local ingredients.

Overnight stays are available, making it an ideal base for exploring the area further—just remember to book your accommodation in advance, especially during weekends and peak season.
