The Fiderepasshütte is a scenic alpine hut located at 2,067 meters above sea level, right on the border between Germany and Austria, nestled in a stunning mountain setting. The hike to the hut starts from the Moser Bergheim parking lot and takes about 2.5 to 3 hours, covering 5.5 km and 840 meters of elevation gain.

The route leads past two charming alpine huts – Innere Wiesalpe and Fluchtalpe – both great for a break with delicious regional food. After the Fluchtalpe, the trail becomes steeper and is partially exposed, so sure-footedness and a head for heights are helpful.

The Fiderepasshütte offers overnight stays, but advance reservations are essential, especially on weekends. Note: cash only, no card payments accepted at the hut!
