This charming little alpine hut sits at the far end of the Obersee and is one of the most picturesque spots in the region. The Fischunkelalm serves traditional Bavarian cold dishes—simple but high quality, often made from their own farm products. While you won’t find hot meals here, the fresh buttermilk and homemade breads are a must-try. It’s a peaceful place to rest after a hike.

Fun fact: Since there’s no trail running along the Königssee, the cows that graze here in summer have to be transported by boat!
