Better beaches, stronger cocktails, and only 40 minutes away.

I’m going to be honest: I personally like the beaches here better than in Barcelona. Sitges is the perfect sunny escape with charming whitewashed streets, incredible seafood, and a vibe that is just unmatched.

The Options:

• Morning: We start with brunch cocktails right on the sand at Papaya Beach.

• Lunch: Traditional Catalan seafood at La Nansa or a breezy garden lunch at Casa Gallega.

• Sunset: End the day with cliffside drinks at Vivero Beach Club

The Logistics: It is a super easy ~40-minute ride on the R2 Sud train (from Sants or Passeig de Gràcia), and it costs less than a coffee (~€4.60). Trains run until almost midnight, so there is no rush.
