Phe Phe Falls is one of the most scenic and lesser-known waterfalls in Meghalaya, located in West Jaintia Hills, near the village of Shkentalang, around 20 km from Jowai. The waterfall is known for its twin streams of water plunging over a rocky cliff into a clear blue-green pool surrounded by lush forest. The name "Phe Phe" means "parrot" in the local Jaintia dialect. Though not yet commercialized, it is slowly becoming popular among nature lovers, photographers, and trekkers for its beauty and relatively untouched surroundings.
