I used to come to Darumaya often when I used to live around here. Instead of Matsusaka Beef, I'd come for the amazing local grilled chicken. It's a different style from typical yakitori; here, the chicken isn't grilled on skewers but directly on a grill, "amiyaki"-style.

The taste is fantastic—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. If you're in Matsusaka and want a delicious break from beef, this place is highly recommended.
