We parked our car by the side of the road and enjoyed a walk along the river trail. There are many waterfalls, resting areas, and scenic spots to explore. In the winter, there are shuttle buses that take you to frozen waterfalls and there's light up at night for winter illumination in nature.

About:

Oirase-keiryū Gorge Park is a stunning natural wonder in Japan that stretches 14 kilometers from Lake Towada to Yakeyama. The gorge is home to a meandering forest stream, lush greenery, and picturesque waterfalls and rapids. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk along the trail, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature and the vibrant colors of the changing seasons. Don't forget your camera – this place is a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts!
