Okay, hands down this place was beyond amazing. I got the all in seafood bowl for 2500 yen and honestly it was worth every yen and more. It was probably worth about 10,000 yen if not more. It's inside a highway stop so you will have to be driving to access this place.
About:
Seafood Cuisine Kiwami is a small, no-frills coastal restaurant where you will get fresh, locally caught sashimi and a hearty seafood rice bowl that locals rave about, so aim for the lunch set if you want best value. Seating is limited and service can be brisk, so try to reserve or arrive early on weekends; they often prefer cash and may not take large groups. You will likely need a car to get there, as public transport is sparse, but there should be simple parking available. Menu English may be minimal, so point at dishes or ask for a recommended set, and expect the focus to be on quality fish rather than fancy presentation. Come hungry and with patience, and you will be rewarded with genuine regional seafood.
